PDF Source Prep is a free, browser-only toolset for everyday PDF chores — picking pages to hand to an AI chat tool, adding writing margins to slides, or unrolling a single endlessly-tall page into printable sheets. Everything runs locally in your browser; no file is ever uploaded to a server.

Our tools: PDF Source Prep — trim PDFs into a citation-ready source packet for Claude or ChatGPT. PDF Note Margins — add blank margins for handwritten notes in Notability, GoodNotes or OneNote. PDF Unroll — cut one very long PDF page into printable, readable sheets. There's also a guides blog with short write-ups on common PDF-and-AI workflow problems.
