PDF Source Prep is a set of three free, browser-only PDF tools (PDF Source Prep, PDF Note Margins, and PDF Unroll) plus a short guides blog. This page explains what data we do and don't collect when you use the site.
What we may collect
Analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic — things like which pages are visited and what kind of device is being used. This does not include the content of any PDF you process on the site.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. If enabled, AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet — see Google's technology partner sites policy for details.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

What we don't collect
- No accounts or logins. There's nothing to sign up for.
- No email collection or newsletters.
- No payments. Every tool on this site is free.
- No server-side storage of your files. Uploaded PDFs are processed entirely in your browser's memory and are never transmitted anywhere.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time as the site or its use of third-party services changes. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
